Gene Soper, who owns a hangar at the Coeur d'Alene Airport, displays a wooden rib from his 1961 Duncan Sport during a visit. Soper, now 91, has been flying in the Inland Northwest since he was a kid and has witnessed the aviation scene and interest in the airport increase through the years.
