Post Falls Chamber is feeling thankful

November is a month we tend to focus on gratitude, and we have so many things to be grateful for — the beautiful landscape in North Idaho, a vibrant and safe community, and committed and generous friends and neighbors.

We were ecstatic to celebrate with this year’s Super Scholarship Raffle winner, Kayla Hart, who is a 2018 Lake City High School graduate now studying social work at Lewis Clark State College. She was the lucky recipient of the $25,000 college scholarship. Our Premier Sponsor, Greene Idaho Foundation, has generously supported this program over the past three years along with our other underwriting sponsors who make the scholarship program possible.

Join us for our Connect 4 Lunch hosted by Kootenai Health on Nov. 20. The program is our State of the City address from Mayor Ron Jacobson. Post Falls has seen substantial growth and successes in 2018, and we are eager to hear the report from our fine mayor.

Our 3rd annual Post Fallidays Festival, sponsored by Columbia

Bank, is right around the corner with The Tiny Tree Brunch & Auction on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon. Our guests will spend the morning perusing tiny trees and wreaths up for auction, while enjoying a delicious brunch at Templin’s Red Lion. Sponsorships and tickets are still available. For more information, opportunities and to register for our events, we encourage you to visit our website: www.postfallschamber.com.
