In late September 2010, Jon Ness took the helm of Kootenai Health as its CEO, replacing longtime chief executive Joe Morris. Here’s a timeline showing some of the community hospital’s accomplishments and expansion efforts during the period of unprecedented growth.

Kootenai Clinic, which previously included Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Neurology and OB-GYN, grew when the following practices joined:

The center features 12 adult Walden House rooms, six pediatric Ronald McDonald House rooms and will be available to all Kootenai Health patients and families who are in need of close affordable overnight lodging.
