Small Business Development Center looking for coaches

North Idaho is growing — and so is the NISBDC!

Our area has recently seen tremendous growth, and that’s not just in population! New business starts are up 33% annually with an additional increase in requests from established business owner as they courageously maneuver today’s rapidly changing economic environment.

Our Mission here at North Idaho College’s ISBDC is to help businesses thrive and grow. Our vision is to help build World Class Businesses in North Idaho. The team serves businesses at all stages of growth. Since 2010, we have coached more than 1,800 businesses and helped increase sales by $150,000,000, generate $83MM in capital and create 1,970 jobs.

Our coaches are retired executives as well as seasoned subject matter experts. Our center serves businesses by offering business and leadership training, providing key resources, and one-on-one confidential business and leadership coaching for entrepreneurs at no cost.

With tremendous growth in demand our team is looking for retired business executives willingness to assist coaching local business owners on a part time or volunteer basis. If you have a passion for serving others, a willingness to learn and a desire to see those around you succeed in business, we would love to talk to you.
