Gesa Credit Union to open first Idaho branch in Post Falls

Gesa Credit Union on May 24 announced it will open in Post Falls its first full-service branch outside of Washington state.

The new branch will be at 317 S. Beck Road. It is expected to open to the public later this year.

The credit union, in collaboration with Dardan Enterprises, Inc. from Post Falls, broke ground on its new branch in May and plans for a soft opening in December. The new full-service branch will occupy 4,500 square feet and will be situated in a shopping center with additional lease space available. This expansion into Idaho marks a significant milestone for Gesa as it continues to grow.

“We have been serving our members and the communities we call home for 70 years and we are thrilled to bring that same level of attention and support to Post Falls,” said Don Miller, Gesa Credit Union president and CEO. “We look forward to spending time in the community, getting to know its businesses and residents and learning where we can add the most value. The new Post Falls branch will serve as a hub branch for Gesa’s growing Idaho market as it joins Gesa’s Commercial Loan Center located in Coeur d’Alene. This branch will feature personal and business banking services including loans and mortgages. In addition to the branch’s full-service offerings, it will also operate drive-up and walk-up interactive teller machines that will be accessible 24/7.
