JOSH MCDONALD - 40 under 40

Josh McDonald, local editor of the Shoshone News-Press, is a Silver Valley native. He joined the News-Press in 2015, beginning as a staff reporter and working his way up to his current position.

Josh is known for his understanding of the community and his ability to build long-term, trusting relationships with those in local governments, businesses and schools throughout Shoshone County. These relationships allow him to produce quality and timely content for his newspaper’s subscribers.

Josh coaches junior varsity boys basketball at Kellogg High School, where he devotes his time to developing the future stars of the Wildcat Basketball Program.
