Intermax continues expanding fiber internet in Spirit Lake

COEUR d’ALENE — Intermax Networks has broken ground on two new phases of the Spirit Lake fiber-to-the-premise project.
“We are excited to continue our work on this transformative project to Spirit Lake. It is our commitment to ensure that the community is empowered with the connectivity they deserve," Mike Kennedy, President and CEO of Intermax, said in a news release.
Founded in 2021 in Sandpoint and now based in Coeur d'Alene, Intermax Networks provides telecommunications solutions for North Idaho, Spokane and beyond. The company provides high-speed internet, phone services, and managed IT solutions.

"We’ve sponsored the Movie in the Park series, Timberlake High School Athletics and the Trunk or Treat event, just to name a few events," Davis said in the release. “You’ve likely seen our trucks and team members around town — we are actively connecting customers to our fiber network every day.”
Fiber-to-the-Premise is considered state of the art in internet infrastructure and service. Spirit Lake residents and businesses will be able to get access to gigabit-speed internet connections at affordable prices with local service and support. The Spirit Lake City project has been planned with seven phases, three of which have been completed and customers are enjoying their blazing fast internet.
