U of I Coeur d’Alene professor published in youth leadership development reports
Krista Soria, an assistant professor for Adult & Organizational Learning and Leadership for University of Idaho Coeur d’Alene, has completed an Index Impact Fellowship with the Center for Expanding Leadership and Opportunity (CELA).
CELA is a national organization that researches and develops youth leadership development. Soria was one of more than 90 fellows in the inaugural class of Index Impact Fellows.
As a fellow, Soria helped the CELO understand how to improve access, quality and resourcing for youth programs across the U.S.
Through the fellowship, Soria was also a contributor and editor to two policy reports focused on the advancement of youth leadership development opportunities: “The Future of Youth Leadership Development Practice: A Call to Increase Access and Quality” and “Advancing Youth Leadership Development Research: Moving the Field Toward Greater Access and Quality.”
Soria also penned an article in the research report titled “Demonstrate the Value Proposition of Youth Leadership Development.”
