Riverstone Dental Care opens in Hayden

Dental care of all types is available at the new Riverstone Dental Care building at 1701 W. Prairie Ave (Suite 105) in Hayden.

Options include routine cleanings and exams, fillings, same-day crowns, implants, root canals and wisdom teeth extractions. Riverstone Dental also has locations in Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls.

The Little Gym will offer gymnastics for children

Programs are designed to get kids moving and boost their brainpower with an emphasis on social and emotional learning and improving social skills.

Mountain West Bank acquires Spokesman-Review building

With plans to relocate its administrative operations and Coeur d'Alene area lending teams within the next two years, Mountain West Bank has acquired the large Spokesman-Review building at 608 Northwest Blvd.

The Spokesman-Review building will retain many of its occupants. Owned by Cowles Publishing, the newspaper began in 1883 and previously was in a building at 515 N. Fourth St.  

Major plans ahead at North Point Plaza

Work is underway for Grocery Outlet and 7-Eleven stores at North Point Plaza at the northeast corner of Highway 41 and Poleline Avenue.

Kootenai Vision Center to be in Post Falls

A new location for Kootenai Vision Center is under construction at the corner of Highway 41 and Early Dawn Avenue in Post Falls.

Completion of the clinic with two leasable sites should be in December with doctors Rob Johnson, Will Fagan and Jared Lambert. Contractor is JCW Construction with architecture by Rann Haight.

Post Falls ER & Hospital opens

• Two new buildings for the Local Markets company will open next year at the intersections of Best Avenue and 15th Street in Coeur d'Alene and Highway 41 and Hope Road in Post Falls. What they will offer will be similar to the existing Local Market at Atlas Road and Seltice Way. The markets will have an emphasis on produce, fresh flowers, coffee and products sourced from local vendors with fresh-made deli sandwiches and pastry bars and premium espresso coffees with drive-throughs. Owned by Andy Singh, the stores are architecturally designed to fit the local landscapes and surrounding communities. They will include gas and electric car charging.

• With a summer opening planned, four businesses will occupy the new building under construction at 264 S. Beck Road at State Line. With Garco Construction in charge, the places will be Wendy's, Joint Chiropractic, The Man Shop and possibly Capriotti's Sandwich Shop. Project manager is Michael Barr.

• A Fernan Farmers' Market will be noon to 4 p.m. Sundays May 5 to Sept. 29 at Lake Village Lodge at 320 E. Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive.

• HeatPraxia, previously at 404 E. Sherman Ave., will be at 1080 E. Lakeshore Drive in September.

• Runge's Furniture at 303 E. Spokane St. is remodeling and will add Trader Joe's in about half the space.

• A new larger building for The Oval Office is under construction on Spokane Street in Post Falls. It should be complete this summer with owner Raci Erdem, general contractor Rob Harsh and architect Mark Latham.

• A proposed Marriott Hotel will be on about a half acre at 602 and 612 E. Sherman Ave. The six-story hotel would include 131 guest rooms, 130 parking stalls among the main level and three levels underground, an administration area, a bar, kitchen, lounge, dining area, meeting area, laundry, fitness room and a rooftop patio bar.

• A new facility for Peak Health and Wellness Center is under construction at 4425 N. Fennecus Road in Post Falls. It will move in August from 927 E. Polston (Suite 101). The new place will include eight indoor and eight outdoor pickleball courts, strength equipment, cardio and group fitness, a kids club, juice bar, pro shop and full locker room.

• DOMA Coffee Roasting Company will open a cafe in the 3,000-square-foot main floor in the new building off the Centennial Trail at 3091 S. Atlas Road. • Huetter Business Park, which is three flex industrial and office buildings owned by Etco Services, will open on Huetter Road north of Interstate 90 and Seltice Way.
