Mexican-inspired food is featured at the new Chipotle restaurant in the River City Center complex at 950 Highway 41.

Although a date isn't set yet, Trader Joe's should open soon at 303 E. Spokane Ave. (connected to the Runge Furniture complex off Fourth Street).
Manager Jackee Piller and about 70 employees will offer daily staples, domestic and imported products and unique foods and beverages from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Local Market planned for Highway 41-Hope Avenue
With an opening planned for next year, the new Post Falls Local Market will be at Highway 41 and Hope Avenue.
It will include an espresso coffee shop, a San Francisco Sourdough restaurant, a high quality deli with fresh-made breakfast sandwiches and fresh smash burgers. The grocery and beverage selection includes juices, beers, wines and ice cream. Follow it on Instagram.
The Human Bean building third location
A third location of The Human Bean is under construction at 7321 W. Prairie Ave. in Post Falls.
It will include a two-sided drive-through serving coffee (hot, iced or blended), smoothies, energy drinks, protein drinks, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, pastries and more. It will have a walk-up window and outdoor seating. Opening in February, hours will be 5 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.

B. Boulangerie Bakery coming to Hayden
Specializing in French-inspired pastries and chocolates, B. Boulangerie Bakery will open in January at 8214 N. Government Way in Hayden with takeout and in-store pickup.
The Paniagua family will offer croissants, Danishes, macarons, handmade chocolates, cinnamon rolls, napoleons and tiramisu. They previously did custom orders as "cottage bakery." This week, Coeur d'Alene was honored on Facebook as "one of the 20 most beautiful cities" in the nation.
The article mentioned the natural scenery, outdoor adventures around the lake, the scenic Tubbs Hill trails, the fascinating Museum of North Idaho and the vibrant downtown with unique shops, restaurants and galleries with "one of the largest holiday light shows in the country, making it a magical winter designation."

• A mixed-used building "Nonna" is planned for 102 E. Fourth Ave. in Post Falls. Mother-daughter Laura and Kelsey Horn will have commercial space on the main floor with a Miss Dazee's brunch restaurant. The three upper floors will house 33 apartments with 25 covered parking spaces and 18 on-street spaces.
