HMH Engineering announces new departments

HMH Engineering, a locally owned civil engineering firm established in 2011, announces the addition of a new Marketing Department, spearheaded by Greta Gissel as marketing director, with Alyssa Blank as our graphic designer.

Gissel, who joined HMH Engineering in April, brings a creative and community-focused approach to her role as marketing director. With a background in elementary education, Greta excels in understanding and addressing community needs, enhancing our firm's engagement and impact.

Alyssa Blank, initially hired as an administrative assistant in April 2023, was promoted to graphic designer in March. A Coeur d'Alene native and University of Montana graduate with a bachelor's degree in media arts, Alyssa combines her passion for landscape and portrait photography with her expertise in media arts to create visually compelling marketing materials. Together, Gissel and Blank are poised to amplify HMH Engineering’s presence and showcase our commitment to quality and community development.

HMH Engineering also announces the addition of a new Bridge Inspection Department, spearheaded by Rick Smith as department manager, with Tony Jankowski as the assisting project engineer. 

Smith, who joined HMH Engineering in June, brings an experienced and thorough approach to his role as the Bridge Inspection Department manager. With 36 years of experience and an extensive background in structural inspections, Smith excels at safely evaluating bridge conditions and providing comprehensive feedback.

Jankowski, who also joined HMH Engineering in June, brings six years of experience over a broad range of structural inspection and evaluation projects, and has previously assisted Smith with managing his inspection projects.
