40 Under 40: Josh Hawks

Josh Hawks is a sales and inventory manager for Riverside Auto Center.

He spent 14 years in the automotive industry and two years as an insurance producer.

Hawks said his family led him to his current position. His grandfather has been in the car business since the 1960s.

"Earning a degree in business management helped me understand the business side of things," Hawks said. "Being a part of many sports teams and earning my way onto a college basketball roster showed me the value of hard work and sacrifice it takes to be successful, as well as learning the importance of working as a team in any setting."

When he isn't working, Hawks said he is active in coaching the Bonners Ferry High School Badgers boys basketball team. 

He sees himself growing a thriving business in five to 10 years.

Advice to his past self: "Gather all advice, whether good or bad. Learn something new every day."
