40 Under 40: Tiffany Klauba

Klauba
The owner of Klauba Consulting & Contracting, Tiffany Klauba has always wanted to make a difference, forging connections and supporting everyone
After working with nonprofits, Klauba discovered a gap in legal advocacy for individuals with disabilities. Having grown up with a passion for helping others, she wanted to make a difference and consistently looked for ways to create connections and support everyone she met.
Klauba took the skills she gained and began working with numerous clients, supporting them with their ADA rights when facing uncertain times. She also helped the community's nonprofits grow from the ground up, helping them navigate procedures and operating protocols for success.
"I have an education in business management and extensive experience with the disabled community, as I also am disabled so I have absorbed as much information as possible to provide proper resources and guidance," she said.
It is her son, who is on the autism spectrum, who inspires her, Klauba said.
After moving back to Idaho, Klauba and her husband, Justin, started their family. Their son was eventually diagnosed with autism and a speech delay. She began searching both for answers and how to help.
She freely shared the knowledge she gained with others to help them navigate the maze of resources, providers and insurance that follows a diagnosis of autism.
"Watching my son who is autistic grow up and the challenges he has faced. He is not alone, as there as many people who face unknowns and if I can give them all a fighting chance to be seen, heard and given a voice for acceptance, then I will continue to do whatever I can," she added.
Her future also is one of being an advocate for those who need their voices heard for a fighter for those disabilities.
"I would love to see the organizations that I have recently helped achieve their goals and for me to be proud of the work that we, as a community, have achieved," she added. "Lyla’s House and Idaho Families of Adults with Disabilities are near and dear to my heart."
If she could give her advice to her younger self, it would be:
"Keep moving forward. No matter the setbacks and no matter what challenges life throws at you, keep pushing. Even on the darkest days, the sun still shines, you just have to believe it."
