November is a month we tend to be more introspective, grateful for all that we have, and the opportunities we are exposed to. I firmly believe all good things start with a grateful heart.

We were ecstatic to celebrate with this year’s Super Scholarship Raffle winner, Mary Vetsch, a University of Idaho student studying to be a teacher. She was the lucky recipient of the $25,000 college scholarship. Our Premier Sponsor, Greene Idaho Foundation has generously supported this program over the past four years, along with our other underwriting sponsors who make the scholarship program possible.

Join us for our Connect 4 Lunch hosted by TDS on Nov. 19. The program is our State of the City address from Mayor Ron Jacobson. Post Falls has seen substantial growth and successes in 2019, and we are anxious to hear a return and report from our fine mayor.

Our fourth annual Post Fallidays Festival is right around the corner with The Tiny Tree Brunch & Auction on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon where our guests will spend the morning perusing tiny trees and wreaths up for auction, while enjoying a delicious brunch at Templin’s Red Lion. Sponsorships and tickets are still available — we are grateful to Columbia Bank and TDS Telecom our Starlight Sponsors, P1FCU our Twinkle Light Sponsor and Julie Holt our Candle Light Sponsor for this fun event.

Looking ahead to January 2020, mark your calendars! Our Community Recognition Gala is slated for Thursday, Jan. 23 — thank you to our presenting sponsor, Numerica Credit Union.
