Hayden Chamber: Autumn a great time to do business

One of the things we love BEST about living in North Idaho is the four-season lifestyle that we are able to enjoy! Each day brings something new and fresh to appreciate, and reasons to live each day "in the moment" because it changes quickly.

The end of September brings the shift from summer to fall — and all that goes with the autumn season. Many of you enjoy "pumpkin" touches to special treats — think pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin spice cake rolls, pumpkin chocolate-chip cookies, and of course — traditional pumpkin pie.

October speaks of trips to Greenbluff to enjoy the fall harvest festival, corn maze, kettle corn and apple treats.

We're excited about the activities that offer many opportunities for fun fall days. On Oct. 10, we are very excited to welcome Crime Scene Entertainment to the Hayden Chamber of Commerce at their grand opening celebration at 5 p.m. Join us for the party at 1701 N. Fourth St., Suite D, in Coeur d’Alene.

Hayden Lake Marathon will be running on Saturday, Oct. 17. North Idaho Fairgrounds will host the Great Pumpkin Fest on Oct. 24-25, and on Oct. 30-31 you can experience Halloween in a whole new way – from the comfort of your car by attending the “Halloween – A Drive-Thru Spooktacular” hosted by Dreams are Forever Events and located at Lake City High School parking lot.

To register for any of our events or view these events on our Community Calendar, please visit our website at www.haydenchamber.org.

Don't forget to spend some time outside and enjoy the gorgeous early autumn weather. Make the most of each day — and have fun fall days!
