State seeks nominees for Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award

Nominations are now open for the 2023 Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing outstanding lifetime achievement in the fields of Idaho recreation and tourism.

Nominations will be accepted through Aug. 21.

The award will be presented during the Idaho Conference on Recreation and Tourism, Oct. 16-18 at the Hells Canyon Grand Hotel in Lewiston.

The annual conference is sponsored by recreation and tourism organizations and partners to provide an educational forum for public, private and nonprofit travel and recreation professionals throughout Idaho.

Idaho Tourism, also known as Visit Idaho, inspires travelers to experience Idaho’s diverse beauty, culture, history and outdoor adventures. Tourism is Idaho’s third-largest Industry.
