40 Under 40: Nathan Orlando

Nathan Orlando, 31, is director/associate general counsel at Kootenai Health.

He manages the legal aspects of the organization in partnership with the chief legal officer and provides business-focused legal advice and guidance in support of Kootenai Health’s mission as a nonprofit health care organization.

With a passion for health care and North Idaho, Orlando said he is grateful for his professional responsibilities and the opportunities he has had to be a part of supporting the needs of the local communities.

“I am honored to be included in North Idaho Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 alongside such great contributors to our community," he said. "One of my favorite parts of my profession has been being able to provide support for clients who find themselves in tough positions.

"Now, as in-house counsel serving a single organization, I am fortunate to work together with employees and health care workers who care for those in need daily and consistently strive to make a positive impact on those around them," he said.
